Pre- Shot Routine:
Developing a Pre-Shot Routine will create
consistency for every shot in your game. Every individual has a different
personality; therefore every golfer will have a different pre-shot
routine to suit their game and personality. When developing your pre-shot
routine make sure to include the following steps in order to come up with
a routine to best suit your needs.
Here are some ideas as follows:
1. Start from directly behind the ball,
and imagine the shot you want to accomplish focusing on a specific
target.
2. Use a method comfortable for you to
check your alignment towards your target.
3. As you approach and or address the
ball, make sure to breath, and relax yourself losing all tension in your
arms and body.
4. Last but not
least, make sure to repeat this process every time before hitting
